My wife had a conference at Michigan University and I went along for the ride so I have been to Detroit.

I know exactly what it is like and most parts of Detroit are like any other US city so yes, I would have no problems going to Detroit. I would rather live in NY or Boston though or on the West Coast.

You know, in 10-15 years time if my current wife doesn’t want me anymore then I would definitely consider spending my last few years in such peace and quiet like NK.
