All inclusive resorts

Postby missyintx » Tue Nov 29, 2005 9:07 am

I am new to this forum and am happy to find it too.
I live in the US but have a friend in the UK whose daughter is getting married in Oct 06 in Cyprus not sure where yet but she said maybe Paphos (sp). We are planning to attend the wedding and I am wondering if someone could tell me a few of the all inclusive resorts that are reasonable in price? And nice for young teens also.
Thanks and I do plan to explore this forum in more detail this week

What category resort are you looking for? What is your budget?

I am not sure of the category not a dump but not a 5 star either. Something clean and close to or on the beach with all inclusive and something for the kids to do.

As for budget well I was thinking of around 3000 to 3200 US. for 7 to 10 days. I would like to have a one bedroom with sleeper sofa bed for the kids. I just wanted to kinda see what kind of options I have here.
Thank you for any help you can give me

Hi missyntx

The Cynthiana is pleasant and well located on the seafront. Some tavrenas/car hire/bars/mini-markets nearby plus on the bus route to Paphos and Coral Bay

Hi all I"ve been reading the boards here and also got the name of the resort and dates in Cyprus. The resort is the Louis Phaethon Oct 7th-14th . I found a pkg deal for the hotel (all inclusive rate) plus the flight from Gatwick to Paphos and the transfer from the airport to the hotel. I am now pricing it by doing it all seperate to see which one works out the least expensive. I have the flights and hotel but was wondering about the transfer from the airport (paphos) to the hotel anyone out there know of the approximate amount?
thanks

Hi Gina

About £12. The Phaeton is at the far end of a long line of hotels, so a 10 minute walk to get to the local tavernas and bars.

Very pleasant hotel.

if you want something central, and excellent quality, might I suggest the 4 Seasons in Limassol.

Thanks Svetlana I saw that it was a long walk to the bars and the harbour but we're doing the all inclusive so hopefully drinks will be a plenty there.

Pumpernickle I have no choice in the resort thats where my friend and the wedding party are staying so if I want to stay with them that's where I have to stay.

It looks like a nice resort can't be any worse than the one in cancun we stayed at for her other daughters wedding right, I figure it's probably better as cyprus looks like a beautiful place to have a wedding and a holiday break.
