And btw, you’re paying through the nose for a Logitech mouse or keyboard which is why they can afford to give that 5 year warranty. To be honest you’re (financially) better off using a cheap Kbd which should last 3-4 years and then just toss in the bin and get a new one for $10-15.

Unless of course you like all those programmable keys etc.

- An order was late for almost a week. I contact them to ask them about it, they refund me the shipping cost (without me asking), order arrives a few days later.
- Something I bought from them stopped working after 3 months. They send a new one right away , I later send the broken one back and they pay for the shipping.
- They made a mistake and send a different model of an item. I contact them, they send the correct one and tell me to keep the wrong model also.

None of the stories you describe are even remotely relevant to Boomer's case who clearly has an expired warranty.

Try Amazon or Logitech's "support" with expired warranties and then come back and tell us your story!

I didn't say they were the same. I said they were examples of great customer service. And I read reviews of products/companies by others where the company would replace out of warranty items. Giving some info to a client of yours in order to fix a minor issue doesn't even count as anything major... and Netgear didn't even do that!

So I contacted Logitech. The only thing that they required was a proof of purchase and they send to me a brand new keyboard... and since the one I had was an old model that was not made anymore they send a newer, upgraded model that had a price even higher than the one I bought (over $100)! And what is amazing is that they didn't even ask me to send the old keyboard back to them!!! So there was not even a way for them to confirm that my old keyboard broke. Needless to say I continue buying Logitech products and the great experience I had with them is always a factor... sometimes the deciding factor when other things appear more or less equal when choosing what to buy.

The magic words.

That's called honoring the warranty, not "great customer service".

What was great is that they send a new keyboard of higher price and they didn't ask me to send the broken one to them. Many companies offer warranties but then they are trying to make it as difficult as possible for the consumer to make a claim on those warranties or even worst some are trying to find an excuse ... "yeah... there is a 5 year warranty, but if you read the small print what happened in your case is excluded" or "OK, so first fill this form, and then send us the product back to this address (the client pays). Then when we receive your product we will fix it and send it back to you ... it will take about a month" etc.

It doesn't cost Varnavas a cent... it's all paid for by Logitech with whom he's a partner.

And who in the right mind would want a used keyboard back? Yuck!

I contacted Logitech directly and I was talking with somebody from Logitech EMEA Support. I don't know Varnavas (the owner of Computerland?) but I bet anybody in Cyprus would have at least asked me to return the broken keyboard before giving me a new one.

I am using only wireless models and I do use some of the programmable keys. I doubt I could get anything close to the functionality/quality with $10-15 ;)

The 2nd guy in the list here is Cyprus’ “Mr Logitech” who runs Logicom. A great guy and businessman.

Yes, know him from the mid-80's, when Logicom first started.

guess who shortly is getting a new router...I reported them...

To avoid any doubt, Apple has also acknowledged that the Australian Consumer Law may provide for remedies beyond 24 months for a number of its products.

apparently searching websites is not the thing to do...especially when you have no internet...and especially when the majority of the population would not have a clue on how to unbrick...

there you have it...right all along...

and GR we spoke about wholesaling and not retailing...and it was screen protectors you dickhead not hardware...and you couldn't even handle that ffs...and since then I came to the conclusion you were not the right person with all your bullshit amateurish questioning...that was what, 4-5 years ago?...anyway since then I have become one of the biggest players in apple and android accessories...in android I would say the biggest in OZ and ever wonder as to why I never approached you since then?...mind you, you in a foreigner country I would have help you a lot, especially giving you credit without any guarantees...or you think distributors get stock on the tick...as the saying goes never look a gift horse in the mouth...your loss anyway...not wanting to brag but setting your bullshit reply in this thread straight because you have no idea what was at stake and what you lost...

Next week I will in Shenzhen signing contracts with MEDIATEK...so i can see their road map on their chipsets...look them up...nothing new here as I am still an vNidia direct partner and this you very well know...as you cannot make NVidia VGA cards without being a partner...and do you know why you cannot make VGA cards with out being a partner. apart from not getting their chipsets?...have guess since you seemed to know everything...wanker

I do not make VGA cards anymore but the partnership has not being terminated yet...I still have direct access to the quatro products...
