What are we asking for that so different or difficult to accept? please no hearsay.

The Tc want to build a state on land that doesn't belong to them..The Tc leadership want to subject the GC as second class citizens in their own country which means apartheid.

what else do you want to hear?

Its a way but not my preferred way and there does not need to be two states.

You cannot get rid of the 2 states, its a red line for TCs.

There can't be two states when one of the two are illegal..Not even the Roc government has the right to sign off on others right of property...

Property rights and BBF are two different issues, you sound confused or stupid.

It's not really two states, VP. Everyone knows that. You're going to get a form of local autonomy. But only on condition Turkey returns huge swathes of GC land and property back. And takes its settlers and guarantees with it. Let's be honest here. That's what is being discussed.

The Tc's have already crossed many red lines. Compromise and reconcile...

There is not going to be political equality of the two state. I think you meant two politically equal states but I think this is not necessary. Cyprus is going to be a democratic and united country in the EU. I dont fancy the current TC leaderships chances of acceding to the EU and implementing the aquis anyway.

It's better to let the GC's take over and not segregate within "two states".

Why are you Gcs all so hung about the 2 states issue, we are not saying two independent countries do you know and understand the difference? it sounds like no one understand BBF. Land will be returned settlers will go, the TA army will go but the guarantees are big issue for us just dismissing our safety is not gonna win anyone over.

The Tc's can administer themselves and have some local autonomy but still in line with the EU acquis. There is also no need for the TC's to administer the GC's or "control" territory in Cyprus.
