In the middle of last month I realized that almost all my minutes of my MTN mobile plan were gone. I never use the mobile so much, so I called MTN to find out what was going on. They couldn't tell me where all those minutes went and said that I had to wait until mid of April for the detailed call logs. Today I checked those logs, and apparently 7200 seconds (2 hours) were used by a single incoming call forwarded to my Voice Mail. Somebody called me when I couldn't answer, the call was transferred to Voice Mail, and that other person apparently didn't turn their phone off so I was charged for a 2 hour phone call!!! WTF??? Voice Mail should be free since it is an incoming call and the caller pays... but even if they are going to charge they should at least limit the time to no more than 5 minutes... who the fuck would need to leave a Voice Mail message for 2 hours??

Maybe someone from or an agent of MTN sent you the message and just "forgot" to turn off their phone! :wink:
