Outside of the Bases, I would say regions of Paphos like Peyia or Chlorakas. This is just from personal observation. It could be worse in places like Oroklini towards Larnaca.

No, I think you will find that Peyia is the worst.

FH - Hmm - last I heard of, regarding numbers in the occupied north, it was a few to several thousands (maybe, 5-6,000).

- I'm not sure whether the poster was asking in relation to avoiding the ex-pat communities or integrating into their packs, perhaps providing specialist goods and services. Personally, I find large groups of any ethnic community congregating together to avoid participating in their resident country difficult to understand nowadays.

I'm presuming the OP wishes to socialise in British circles.

Personally, although I'm British, I would much rather steer clear and integrate in local society. but then my other half is Greek Cypriot, so it goes without saying.
Obviously, you don't mind having a few friends of what you're background is, around, it makes you feel at home a little more. I wouldn't go out of my way to find them though!

10,000, mostly Brits, in the Girne area.
