Prior to 2000, had someone suggested you set up an IT company called “Google” you would’ve laughed at them... but look at them now!

So no, I don’t think names really matter…

Facebook is another example of a daft name that made it big.

At least they didn't call it Gaygle!

That's exactly what it is... in Spanish!

There's a...

Susanna Bequer the actress:
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0090085/

Ben Bequer the author:
http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/6430853.Ben_Bequer

Some Dr. Napoleon Bequer:

A couple more Bequers in here:
http://www.linkedin.com/pub/frank-bequer/18/b70/a98
http://mx.linkedin.com/in/alainbequer

So there you go... it’s the Spanish equivalent of "Becker" which may also be spelled the same in a couple more languages.

Ok Boomers, you may now cease humping that sheep and flush the toilet!

did you dream of this name during a wankothon?...so f/what you might as well call it wankersoft...some fool might buy it, needless to say for the wrong reason...

anyway here are some slogans for you apart from it has bequeer all over it

Endless possibilities with bequer tool
bequer toolsrific
One goal, one passion - bequer tools
Connect with bequer tools
bequer tools - living innovation
bequer tools, just the best
bequer tools. See more. Do more
bequer tools, whiter than the whitest
Feel the magic of bequer tools
The bequer tools look
The bequer tools effect
Endless possibilities
Be inspired by bequer tools
bequer tools - forget the rest

I would have gone with moon valley software, meaning you are not a one program company...and name the tools something like 123 web easy...visual web builder...crystal web tools..something that actually means something in real life and not the fantasy you living in...Spanish imish...wtf?...
in any case, you, apart from being a wanker, which market are you aiming for?...pros or amateurs?...then figure a name to suit the market you are targeting...bequeer does not address either market...just a few laughs and a lot of shit stirring like now...

by the way the amount you wanna charge for this package and for one hit wonder is way over the top...the price point here is a US$29.95 retail...wholesale is like US$12...no one is gonna pay you the amount you are asking...

also you need to release a trial version either with limited features or 1 week expiration date...this way future customers can try and see if it meets their needs...also you need to consider selling the whole thing to a bigger company for a payout...I would chose selling out for a fee because it will be on torrents in no time and you will get nothing because you will not have litigation resources...but with a name like bequeer I think it's a safe bet exposure won't happen anyway...

You’re only saying they're good now because you’re biased after a decade of extreme exposure to them. It’s impossible now to criticize those names no matter how hard one tries.

In the 90s it was fashionable to have “tech”, “micro”, or “comp” somewhere in your IT name but trends change and now it seems that IT names should sound ridiculous.

All 80s influence...

123 web easy = Lotus 123
crystal web tools = Crystal Reports

moon valley software = already exists even though it sounds like a Lassie movie!

These are the kind of names software have these days...

"Ruby on Rails"

"MooTools"

Just to name a couple… it’s like this industry has gone nuts!
