The invasion of Italy in 1943 was a joint operation that included forces from many countries, including eg Brazil. From September 1943 the Italians were officially on the side of the Allies and at that point Germany invaded Italy and became the occupying power. The arrival of Allied forces, in Rome (and the Vatican) was thus as a liberation force, that or by the same token every country that took part in the Italian campaign must be ranked as an occupier of the Vatican.

The funniest thing is that if you do a search of the number of Asians in the UK, the numbers vary from 2.2 million to 2.3 million !!!

Translated in equitable figures that means that for every 1 Cypriot there are merely ...8 Asians

How terribly wrong you are !!! The Cypriots have always been highly respected for their industriousness, their willingness to blend in with the Brits, and adapt, the real Brits that is, unlike medieval people who stick out like a sore thump and denigrate the British way of life.

Amongst us here in the UK we have people who condone the recent barbaric attack of a young Pakistani woman , throwing bricks and stones at her until dead, her crime ? married someone her family did not approve, the same savages recently stoned to death a young woman in Pakistan, her crime ?Using a ....mobile phone !!!

No mate, we the Cypriots are not in the same league .
