Now I know why the Cypriots sport beards !!
Almost the entire Greek team are bearded, I had difficulty identifying which is the Greek team, thinking I was watching a Bangladesh team playing !!

In spite of those unsightly, dated Middle Eastern/ Asian whiskers I will still support our long distance ape ...cousins.

11pm, England, will stay up to support our national millionaires trying to play football !!!

My apologies to all my friends who have beards, I just dislike whiskers on a man or a woman.
On their return to Greece they should all be given a bloody shave !!!

Not really… Colombia is a lot more clinical in finishing. It’s a well known fact.

It’s all about the “clinicability” (to invent a word) of teams… you can run around with 99% possession but if you’re not putting them in the back of the net you’ve got nothing to show for it.

Colombia is a better “finisher” than Greece so the outcome was expected.

Well if you can't score goals then you're bloody hopeless!

Other than that, the way they played means they should have a good chance against Japan, but one thing is for sure, Japan will put away their chances so Greece better watch out!
