So for the last time lets look at some facts. You're 62nd in the world, you've lost all your World Cup games and you got beaten in qualifying by Japan. This wogball lark really isn't Australia's cup of tea now is it?

Look, you are going to have to send them over because I do not believe Apoel have what it takes to play competitively against most Australian A League Teams. The budgets for one are much larger, and the competitiveness of the league is more demanding.

While you're at it, you better send the Cyprus National Team over for a good spanking by Australia!

Oh btw, this "wog ball lark" is actually very mainstream these days in Australia. Average crowds at A League games are around 20,000. The National Team plays in front of 100,000. Yep that's right, 100,000! Only country to do this is Brazil at the Maracana. The country is generally sports mad. Soccer is the most popular participation sport in the country. TV rights and gambling net the clubs millions of dollars per annum.

And, Australia is ranked low because they had a very bad 12 months. Wind the click back a couple of years and they were in the top 20. They were also ranked in the top 10 for a period of time. In fact they were ranked 9th.

So stick that up your bum! :lol:

If this really isn't Australia's thing, then they are doing even better.

Furthermore, Australia will rise through the rankings. The way they played indicated that they are far superior to Greece. Greece has got nothing on Australia! Sorry!

In fact they were top 20 between all of 1998 to 2010. It's what is referred to as the Golden Age with players like Kewell, Viduka, Farina, Bosnich, Neil, Zelic et al.

I got to agree with you Zan (unfortunately)!

They showed nothing in their 2 games. Absolutely nothing and they are now prime candidates as the worst team seen at this World Cup.

Perhaps our Greek Cypriot forumers here need to eat some humble pie. They made fun of Australia but at the end of the day. The egg is on their face and not Australia's.

Australia holds its head up high because they came and they are playing a style of Football that can beat anyone. Can't say the same of Greece.
