With a few exceptions.... Not really my type of music insan. I was just about finding my way in music in the early 70s and found I liked soul, blues, jazz, funk....etc

Were you a Barış Manço man ?

Not heard that one before but then I used to hate Turkish music through my teens. Seemed they were always traditional songs badly "brought up to date". I like the FUNK metal fusion in this one though, if thats right, and Baris was one of the more believable ones given we had the real thing in the UK. I only discovered/rediscovered Turkish music when someone gave me a disk with 250 songs on it. Since then I have enjoyed finding out the different styles that made it across the Ottoman empire….Greek, Bulgarian, Indian, North African etc... It really is fascinating. The ones that really touch my soul seem to come from Kurdish singers and writers.

Going back to the style (sort of) that you seem to like….have you heard of these? Not sure if I have posted them here before. I love this track: Budgie

And talking about obsession…Mine is Gregory Porter at the moment…Cant get enough

Yeh I can see that…Think Lead singer Budgie has better range though.

This is the one I have fallen asleep to many times playing over and over again through my extra large professional "Cans" I was given as a teenager

Great song by budgie... it seems like it's my type of music but i still can't believe myself how i missed Budgie in my researches to discover more bands from psychedelic genre... and btw, gregory porter's music, even when it's live is stunning... i like to listen jazz after midnight, preferably under the moonlight... it's a kind of magic...
