How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

You got it in one right there and that’s why any other political arrangement will never come to pass.

I keep telling you people… there’s nothing in it for them.

Well, Biden is from the states and and what political equality of each state means to him is not what you are talking about.

Biden only reconfirms what is on the negotiating table, BBF with political equality of the two states, if you understand what BBF is then all that remains to be negotiated is political as per the special needs of a new united Cyprus, one size does not fit all, the international community are well aware of this fact thats why they supported the AP.

Did they, REALLY?

So, where are all these actors supporting the return of the AP since 2004?

At best a new version of the AP will reappear and it not resemble the USA or Canada it will be tailor made to the sensativites of Cyprus.

Read my latest Post from Hugh Pope - ICG rep as it looks like a new settlement platform may be coming our way, seeing that a BBF has been rejected since the High Level Agreement way back in 1979. As for the 90 percent Greek Cypriot land thing that Boulio is on about, please, read up on why Turkey landed in Cyprus in 1974 and why it remained before uttering such nonsense. Start with the Greek Coup of 15th July 1974 and end with the AKRITAS plan for extra topping, hence why a BBF is hard to swallow!

...you cannot escape the fact vp, that your notion of BBF does not match up to reality.

...and it is why the rest of us (not "Greek" (or "Turk")) who want Cyprus to be Free must unite, prepared to defend each other as Cypriots, by acting accordingly.

You can call the new version anything you would like, even AP-6, but it's not going to be anything like the old version of 2004 AP.

Mr Hazos chooses to forget that the occupied areas were populated by Greek cyps , who legally own with their church 90 percent of the occupied territories.. He chooses to forget that turkey using military force ethnically cleansed the Greek Cypriot population from the occupied areas of Cyprus.
