They must suck at business... :?

Well their soccer industry may be poor but their fisheries industry is massive there… not everyone puts the same amount of effort in soccer. It all depends...

Fisheries? I didn't realise Maersk was just a bunch of fishermen. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maersk :?

They also make a drink you could be familiar with: Carlsberg.

The difference is that they don't buy a lot of expensive foreign players, like we do.

Statistically it doesn't add up.

Either we're superhuman or Denmark sucks balls.
Take the white boy Viking superiority theory and throw it out the window.

:? But this is not national teams we’re talking about but BUSINESSES (all pro clubs are businesses)… many even listed on stock exchanges around the EU.

Any business that can't afford to pay their players ain't any good at business either!

Every time apoel enters the Champion League group stages which is on average every 2 years now, the company generates revenues in excess of 25m Eur with overheads that rarely exceed 10m Eur. That's good business!

It's the only team that might be cash positive.

What about Anorthosis and the 25 million they got all those times? Now they are almost bankrupt.

Sorry, last time I checked, a league is suppose to have more than 4 teams.

The fool is just jealous because the Cypriot league is slowly but surely advancing towards the European elite whereas Australia’s is a joke!

You're joking right?

Australia is a sports machine! 8)

The mere fact you're even comparing Cyprus to Australia tells me you've totally lost it!

Some interesting games played today...

APOEL's next CL rivals struggling at home:
AaB 1-2 FC Nordsjaelland

APOEL's previous rivals thought they’d try their lack against weaker opposition:
HJK 0-6 Barcelona

No interest here but I know someone will be...
Paderborn 3-1 Everton

AEL's rivals one goal ahead by the 40th minute against good German opposition:
Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 Schalke 04

That was right, but the fisheries part was incorrect.

Anyway, AaB has 3 foreign players

On the other hand APOEL has 15!
