It's holding station in Block 9, some 60 NMs south of Larnaca.

In response, the Turkish navy has sent its Bafra Korveti warship to observe the drillship's activities.
Greek Cypriot Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides said on Wednesday that hydrocarbon exploration in the region will continue despite Turkey’s objections, calling Turkey's actions 'potential harassment'.

Yes, what is described as a corvette has put in an appearance some miles away.

... and the Barbaros is trawling between Southern Turkey and the Occupied Karpas.

The Barbaros appeared at about the same time as the Saipem, putting in a performance for the benefit of the Mushrooms like Fungo, who'll believe anything, that it's actually surveying... :lol:
