Anyway, I hope no one takes my little wind up the wrong way.

I was very upset to learn that Cyprus lost to Israel.

Cyprus has a good opportunity to try and qualify. This is a best or easiest group but Cyprus can't afford to drop games like this at home.

I actually rated Cyprus as a good chance to beat Israel. But still, it's not the end of the world. If Cyprus beat Andorra home and away, beat Bosnia, and Wales at home, then they might just do it. It will depend on other results.

Cyprus has a small outside chance of snagging a draw with Belgium at home as well.

They have to get serious.

But I have said it before. The clubs in Cyprus are not helping the National Team because some of them are comprised of only foreigners in the starting line up. The CFA has to crack down on that.

Why not just have a cap on foreigners to 3 per team? The clubs could just sign 3 quality players and concentrate on developing local talent.
