Would an average Cypriot feel more at home in a restaurant in a heartland of 'western europe', geographically , politicaly and culturaly, like say Germany, eating Sauerkraurt and Bratwurst or in a restuarant in any of the countries of the levant eating some variant of kebab, yoghurt, helim and pitta bread ?

Would an average Cypriot have a work ethic closer to that of the average worker in Germany or to an average in the countires in the levant ?

Would an average Cypriot public sector worker have a ethic of 'service' closer to that of the average public sector worker in Germany or to an average in the countires in the levant ?

Would an average Cypriot politican give jobs to friends , family and poltical supporters to a degree that was more similar to one in Germany or to a degree that was more similar to an average of polticians in the countries in the levant ?

Woulds an average Cypriot's attitude to illegal bird trapping be more similar to the average German's or more similar to an average in the countires in the levant ?

Would an average Cypriot's approach to driving and especially parking be more similar to the average Germans or more similar to an average in the countires in the levant ?

Would an average (male) Cypriots attitude to sitting around in coffee shops, playing backgammon and pontificating about every and any subject under the sun and espcially those they have no actual knowledge of be more similar to a Germans attitude or to an average in the countires in the levant ?

Yes I feel very much at home with the Germans or any other Western European country. Grew up with Germans. I would feel a lot more comfortable in Germany than Lebanon.

I love their food, wines and beer as well.

Cypriots are also very Western.

I understood completely and let me reiterate. German cuisine and liquor is just as good as any Middle Eastern Cuisine. Their wines and beers are vastly superior. But more importantly, I believe Cypriots have far more things in common with Germans culturally and politically.

I grew up with them everywhere in a place where towns and cities had German Names, their wineries, pubs with German cuisine just like living in Germany itself. They are sensible and down to earth. The lebs in Cronulla like to gang rape Australian women because she wore a short skirt and "asked" for it. Gangs, drugs and guns!
