My top ten Pet Hates

Postby miltiades » Sat Oct 04, 2014 10:11 am

With so much unpleasantness taking place in the ME and so much animosity amongst the resident ISIS supporters and those who condemn these barbarians,I thought it would make lighthearted reading to reveal my Top 10 Pet Hates, hope you do too.

Starting from the lowest, ie at no. 10 going to the top of mist of annoying Pet Hates.

No.10.

Excessive loud noise generated by Cypriot drivers in cars or motor bikes, revving up at 3am in the morning making such a cacophony at high speeds. Brainless, mostly young punks, indisciplined and oblivious to their surroundings and the annoyance they cause.
Bikers seem to consider the helmet as an item worn on their back, not their heads !
Cars fitted with exhausts the size of a cannon in order to make as much noise as possible. To them all I say, what a bunch iof bloody Plonkers
No.9 To follow .....

NO.9
Travelling by train to central London day before yesterday, I dont do this very often, but what with parking, congestion charges, traffic I hopped on a British Rail train to my favourite station, ....Victoria where I first....

Got on a District line tube packed with people from all walks of life and cultures.

I stood up as no seats were available and since.. dying my hair pink I looked 30 years younger!! Nobody offered me a seat. In front of me stood a "manthing" covered in tattoos, one of my pet hates, as if that was not enought on the back of his stupid neck there stood like a fricking sore thumb two great big ...studs !! What a Plonker.

I hate tattoos and body pearcings, men wearing a multitude of earings, nose bloody rings and cock ones too. As for women, what makes an attractive woman cover her self in studs, tatoos and nose rings!! Brain deadsymptom no doubt.

NO.8
" Humans began to wear clothing 170,000 years ago, concludes a new study that suggests our ancestors first put on clothes after the second-to-last Ice Age, when being nude must have been too cool for comfort."

My late father earned much of his tailoring revenue from sawing holes on throusers, jackets etc.

It makes you think how stupid the so called fashion is that a a pair of jeans is ....fashionable if full of holes . The fundamental need for ancient man in wearing some form of body coverings was to hide bodily...holes and protrusions !!

So many women, men too, wearing jeans full of ...designer holes!!
It re-enforces my belief that if male and female genitalia were removable, stupid sods would be displaying them proudly on their stupid faces, just imagine a ...hyi( thats Russian for penis ) proudly resting on a mans cheek, or forehead, equaly a female proudly showing off her ...virginity !!

My other third does in fact wear jeans full of bloody holes, well I soon have them off !!!

NO. 7
Winging Charlies !!

I love Cyprus and consider the island as the Paradise on earth, wise enough to understand that Utopia exists no where on earth. The weather, the fascinating thunderstorms accompanied by ferocious lightning, the natives as well as the ...gorgeous new comers to Cyprus from Eastern Europe, what an absolute eye delight !!

I visit Cyprus 7-8 times a year, never had a bad minute, seeing my family, friends, making new friends such as my latest hero Panos Vozikis, a philosopher, a poet, a writer and a highly educated Greek with such a beautiful command of the Greek language.Yes prices are expensive, Yes shops, most of them, do not display prices, but to hear Charlies continually bemoaning, saying things like CYPRUS IS NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE , annoys me so much.

Instead of having a good time visting their homeland, families and friends all they do, like my older brother, what a Plonker, is to moan and moan and moan, mixing their Greek with English, can not put a sentence together without a good mixture of English and Greek.
You ask a returning to the UK Cypriot after a holiday in Cyprus, " How was Cyprus ? "

Very expensive he responds !!!

By the way, my number one Pet Hate might well surprise most of you

Great list Milti... but is it ordered? You dislike more holes in jeans than loud car/bike noises at 3am?

Yes I do ! You can not eradicate stupid drivers but can educate "fashion" fools .

What on earth is fashionable about wearing jeans covered in holes !! Its bloody stupid and to me a sign of poverty. Holes in Jeans, how about holes in ....cars, or other personal parafernalia , one on your forehead for instance or another on your rear buttocks, but you may then have a " pain in the a....

NO, 6
RIP OFF MERCHANTS
They are everywhere, Insurance companies, Banks, Airport so called Duty FREE ??? ( ARHIDHIA ) Money exchange at airports,
Loan sharks who have the audacity to advertise interest rates at over 3000%, Airlines that stipulate a rate ( Cyprus Airways for instance ) only to find out that when you progress to booking thy add on some 46% , government fees they call them, admin fees too.Nothing annoys me more than sharp practices. Its a bit like going to a restaurant, selecting a meal at the given price and then they add on ....cooking fees !!!

Such practices are a fricking disgrace, developed solely in order to con the public. Why does Cyprus Airways for instance advertise a price for a flight and then add on ....government fricking fees. Bloody crooks ! I never fly with them.

As for insurance companies, protected in their crooked policies by the law, well a few weeks back I had my car stolen, naturally I rung the Insurance company and reported the theft, Saturday afternoon it was, an hour or so later the Police rung to say the car was recovered.

Off I went to get my car, drove it home, and on Sunday also drove it. Monday morning I get an email from the Insurance crooks informing me that my policy- standard practice apparently- had been cancelled. On recovering my car I did try to inform the crooks but it was too late, they had closed. Therefore from Saturday late afternoon to Monday lunchtime I was driving a car with no insurance.

Called the insurance, told them my car was recovered, withdrew my claim, only to be told that my insurance had been cancelled and it would cost me 52 quid to have it re instated !!!

Loan sharks advertise loans at over 3000% , yet football team players wear T/Shirts advertising their services, WONGA for instance.

Yes, gone are the days when gentlemen gave up their seats on the trains. People will think you weird if you did.

Travelled on the Tube the other day and went for a very long stroll around central London... packed with flipping tourists, very loud tourists, particularly prominent in numbers and volume were the French.

You could tell they were French cos they were particularly poorly-dressed and ill-mannered, assembled in large groups eating MacDonalds in public, and generally got in the way, ... oh, and they gibbered away in French.

All cluttering up the place. They should piss off back to Berlin.
