The difference is that Isreal invaded and occupied the lands in 1967 - the legitimacy of their rule over what may become Palestine is therefore questionable.

For Tur*ey there is likewise no legitimacy for their illegal invasion and occupation of part Cyprus, with the intent of creating two states out the one legit state.

You are otherwise disingenuous in thinking that what Tur*ey bullied the UN/Annan to deliver in 1974 was the basis for settlement.

Hot air. They'll do nothing. No threat to the orange supplies for winter.

Anyway, Cyprus doesn't need any more hot air blown at Turkey to remove her disgusting troops. The EU needs some action ... maybe when America/UK stop meddling in EU affairs?

"UK meddling in EU affairs"?
The UK is a member of the EU and can "meddle" as much as any other member.

Not really. It's just a trading partner that happens to be in Europe. Becasue the EU exists, it needs to have a finger in the pie. It should join the eurozone otherwise shut up about EU affairs. Its preference to the EU dissolving is well-known.
