gawd help us.

Actually, he will be running against Hillary and not against Obama.

So it will be Clinton vs. Bush again in 2016!

In all fairness, Jeb is the brightest light bulb on the Bush's Christmas tree. He has a 50-50 chance becoming the next president of the USA since the country has had just about enough of the Clintons' and Bushs' for the next 100 years!

If Bush is to run, I rate him as an 80% chance against Clinton.

The Republicans are home and hosed in my opinion.

Florida will once again become the battleground to deliver the presidency to Jeb or Hillary. Jeb being the former and very much liked governor of Florida might have the advantage, but with the recent Obama move with Cuba to normalize relationships, might just level the playing field with the Cubans in Florida by giving their votes to Hillary also. Cuban community in the past mostly favoured the Republicans at the voting booth.

Yes but don't the Cubans actually hate Fidel?

Maybe that won't be much of a factor.

I personally favour the Democrats although I don't really know what Jeb will be like. To be fair to him, he should not be in the Shadows of his family.

It only looks as though the Americans have had enough of the Democrats and want a change.

I saw the reference to running against Obama and assumed it was the formal way of indicating Bush would be running against any proposed/undecided future candidates that will be Obama's successors.

Agree that American politics is looking very dynastic... if not simply nepotistic. Can't comment on any 'Bush intellect' but Republicans are not my cup of tea, regardless.

You see! There lies your issue. Jeb Bush might be a genius but Republicans are not your thing.

The interesting thing about Americans and Australians is that they are predominately swinging voters. They are no fools either.

Take for instance Abbott. We are happy with him for the moment because he gets results. We had 15000 illegal immigrants last year and now we have less than 100.

He was an international leader advocating for sanctions against Russia. He confronted Putin and did us proud. That is what we wanted. Putin was the most unpopular person at the G20. If we could, we would have not allowed him entry into Australia such is the feeling of the Australian People. Putin even sent his warships and they were intercepted by ours. He succeeded in signing a FTA with China. In fact, China and Australia are particularly close now. Abbott and the Chinese Leader were inseparable at the G20.

He made a ruthless unpopular budget because the budget is in deficit.

We wanted leadership and we got it.

The only negative is that he is a staunch Catholic. So religious that he almost became a priest which is why we call him the Monk. There will be no legalized Gay Marriage or Abortion anytime soon.

Now with the economy and DAESH inspired terrorism on our doorstep, he is the man and leader we want and trust.

But it is more than that. He is the figure head. Behind him is an apparatus with unlimited resources, minders and advisors. The apparatus never changes. Foreign Policy and direction remains constant.

Ahah Get Real, but you do not realize that a high Aussie Dollar was fucking the economy!

Australia is a net producer of resources, fossil fuels, technology, cars etc etc etc and a lower Dollar is what we want because we actually get more money for what we sell and also sell more stuff.

A lower dollar means that our economy will do well so stick that in your pipe and smoke it bitch!

Just like germany who wants a lower euro. Our economy is very similar! 8)

remember mate how Germany always has babies over a high Euro Vs the USD! It's because they are less competitive to America! The same with Australia, it is less competitive with a high AUD.

Only countries that produce NOTHING, like Greece, Cyprus and Turkey want a high currency, because they come to countries like Germany, Australia and US to buy all their shit!   And don't worry, we will only be too happy to take your money so no problems there!

And that is WHY our Federal reserve keeps cutting Interest rates - to lower the AUD. 8)

Don't worry dude!

I don't think Australia is a net producer of Olive oil so we might need to buy some.

What's the price of Cypriot Extra Virgin?

In return we could sell you some HSV Cars for a 5% discount. At $100,000 a car (start price), that is a saving of $5000 buckeroos! 8) At 6000cc, plenty of grunt too. You could go from Nicosia to Paphos in like 40 minutes. Now how is that? For around Nicosia, you can just idle along at 60.

http://www.hsv.com.au/Gen-F/home/au/

They even sell hatchbacks for the Missus!

Really popular in the Gulf States mate!

Tsk tsk tsk ...
