Ok here is a few that have been bastardised by GC s . Turkish coffee now being called cyprus coffee , Turkish delight now being called cyprus delight . Dolma which is the turkish word stuffed bastardised to dolmades . I will return to educate you in most of your cuisines which are ottoman influence . The only thing that is cypriot is afelya and I will get back to with more but need to put the kids to sleep . Good night

The Ottoman Turks were no bloody cooks, you fool. The Turks stole the Arabic and Greek recipes to make their "own" cuisine.

I would not be surprised to find foods of this sort (ingredients and method of prep and cooking) predate the Tur*ish arrival in the area.
