Cyprus Soap?

Postby ruthie » Sat Jan 03, 2015 11:57 am

Came back to Cyprus this year in October.
I purchased some frangipani soap that was cut from a long jelly like (but solid) yellow bar. There was also other fragrances in different colours.
I love this soap and have used all my friends and family presents as well as my own!!
I think it was made in Cyprus and I have tried in vain to find some more on the internet without success.
Please ... can anyone help with a source for this?

What would be great is the name of a souvenir shop that may know of this item so that I can contact them?

You are not giving us much info to help you. Where did you purchase it from? If it was in Nicosia or Limassol go to 2gis.com.cy and search for souvenir. It will give you many Souvenir shops on a map. By looking at the map find which was the shop you bought the soap from and get their tel number.

Hi I purchased it in several souvenir shops in Larnaca. I have receipts but no luck googling the names!

It sounds like glycerin soap with a frangipani scent.

I'd like some too! :D

There's a glycerin soap scented with frangipani available through Amazon, or from 'body and soul soaps':

Thankyou GreekIslandGirl - that looks similar so will give it a try. The soap is brilliant as does not cause any irritation but has a brilliant scent as well.

The soap is nice, but the fragrance is not as good as the one from Cyprus, so still on the lookout for that one!
