Entry ban to Cyprus

Postby Zaheer » Tue Jan 06, 2015 8:36 pm

Hi everybody. I am new to this forum. I am from Bangladesh. I was in Cyprus for almost 7 years. Now I am in Dhaka. I join in this forum because I need help. I was legally entered in Cyprus on 2006, October. And I finished my visa on 2012,September. as my course was finished. And I arranged a marriage of convenience with a Bulgarian girl. And this girl was very very bad. She knew only money. But my intention was not only visa but also to live together with this Bulgarian girl if she was good. But I couldn't live with her more than 45 days. And I left her. Eventually I lived like that. And my file was closed automatically. I became an illegal immigrant. On 2013, December, I got caught from the road and they deported me after 20 days. Anyway, now I want to go to Poland. I need to know that Cyprus ban my entry for how many years. And also is this ban will be applied for whole EU sates? If somebody know the answer ,please reply me. Thank you.

Marriage of convenience? Sounds more like a marriage of inconvenience. Tough.

here is some information for you zaher.
Good news and bad news.

bad news - the ban applies to all eu countries
good news - the ban may be only for 2 years depending on your circumstances, it depends on how long you overstayed.

here is more info.

sometimes people forget what life is like in some parts of the world. all restrictions should be removed. if the rich world gave a fair deal to the poor world in trade and resources there would be no need for anybody to move on economic grounds.

He is better off trying Greece or Cyprus again because you guys are a bit Poofy!

Australia and Canada have the toughest immigration laws in the world. In Australia, the average incarceration period is 12 months in a detention centre before deportation if the illegal challenges.

Only Saudi Arabia is tougher. They like beheaded foreigners there with trumped up drug charges.

No one in their right mind would try Australia or Canada. EU is the go!

I know an Australian girl, who is an a Latin Dance instructor who married a Cuban.

It took her 2 years of living in Cuba before immigration would allow her husband entry.

She had to persevere through interview upon interview with Department of Immigration officials. It was up to her to prove that the marriage was not one of convenience.

It's probably something ASIC and ASIO get involved with too with their surveillance. They don't make it easy these days.

Which reminds me that a Cypriot Family approached my wife for assistance to migrate to Australia. My wife works for the Australian Government as a political appointee, not public service. She has the meson and this Cypriot Family asked - a bit of a Cypriot Thing.

The reply from her was that she can't do a thing despite her even having personal access to the Minister of Immigration. They simply don't do that in Oz.

Anyway the family applied. They were told that they were intrested in giving a VISA to their Son and the rest of the family had to go to Beirut to be interviewed by immigration. The Son was a Car Mechanic so they were sure he was employable.

Europe is far too racist for a Bangladeshi… they don’t like your colour and they don’t like your religion, so I reckon you have a much better chance making it in your own country than here.
