I think these increased security measures have to do with the threat posed by DAESH. It should be borne in mind that there is a ferry from Syria to the north of Cyprus and the Islamist regime currently in control of that part of Cyprus tacitly supports DAESH.

I personally think that the carpet baggers should be required to fill in ROC tax forms before they can leave....(oh and of course pay tax, unless they can show tax has been paid in their country of origin or the ROC)

It is the Turks and carpet b*ggers who stole GC land....otherwise everyone with any income, even a pension, is liable to tax, subject to any tax free entitlement ...and in Cyprus the lawful tax body is the ROC....
