Livestock investment in the Dominican Republic

Postby georgios100 » Mon Feb 23, 2015 4:46 pm

Livestock is an interesting sector to invest with good returns, if done right.
The tropical location of the Dominican Republic(DR) has several advantages
over North American or European countries. Cattle graze all year round, no winter feed expenses,
very low labor wages and low profit taxation.

Currently, 5 guys are participating in this venture. 3 men from Larnaca and 2 from Toronto.
We are at the planning stage. 3 of us are flying to Puerto Plata, DR on Mar 29, 2015 for meetings
with several farm owners. We drafted an agreement to provide the existing cattle dairy farms with calf bulls
for a breeding period of 12-16 months. Subsequently, the animals are slaughtered for meat and
the profits are shared between us and the farmers. The farmers must surrender their land title to us
as a guarantee for our investment. The farmers are responsible for the labor, vet care and secutity
of the animals. We undertake the administration of the company including bookkeeping, banking and
taxation.

We anticipate to have a minimum of 5 farms in the program to split the risk.
Profits are deposited into a DR bank, preferably Scotiabank (Canadian owned)

Access to profits via ATM banking, worldwide.

We welcome anyone willing to participate. Only serious inquiries shall be entertained.
The investment is scheduled to begin later this year if all the numbers are in favor.
