In all honesty, I cannot recall ever indicating such a direct slur on their "Courage", perhaps I alluded to the fact that I considered their actions "Cowardly" on account of their invulnerable position whilst delivering bombs upon targets which are ill-equipped in defend themselves from such aerial bombardments., That situation might qualify for such a view.

I think the most "Courageous" action these pilots take (on current bombing raids mind) is to climb into the aircraft and place their complete confidence in the technology and servicing of their flying "Death Machines".

Unless they are airborne to face a likewise equipped fighter plane, I think it would be fair to assume that they have little to fear in the circumstance of merely going out on a bombing raid, knowing that they will meet with little resistance.

THAT sounds a little more in line with MY thoughts, perhaps you know different, I would be pleased to know............ thanks.

I wouldn't say they are invulnerable. Every aircraft is vulnerable when it flies over enemy controlled territory. And further to this the Pilots will pay with their life should they be downed and the death that awaits them is gruesome unless they take their life with their own hand which no doubt would have to be an option under the circumstances.

I do know that Australian Pilots carry suicide pills - standard issue. They could also use their Glock.

And you are completely wrong. If our weapons are superior and give us an advantage, then we will use them. Really sorry, but we are not in the business of evening up the odds so that people like you can admire their courage.

I thought you were about to point out where I called the pilots "Cowards".

As to the superiority of arms and the advantages that attend them , history illustrates the effectiveness of being in possession of them throughout the ages but, the force that holds the upper hand in bearing such arms is not necessarily morally superior.

Proof of such an observation is clearly evident in American history (not really long enough to qualify for such distinction) and the extermination of the Red Indians, the same could be said of many campaigns of violence that have taken place (and still are) in order to establish the authority of the perpetrators of such violence.

It does not prove them right and very often proves them wrong, currently, the onus is on the latter of the two.

The adage "Might is Right" is the silent mind-set of the bully, "Reliance on Defiance" that of those who stand against it.

Thank God (or Allah) for the rebels and freedom fighters, the world would be full of sycophants without them and I think there are enough of THEM around us already.

I couldn't be bothered filtering through your posts but yes, you stated that coalition pilots are cowards.

I am sure Americans have no superiority complex as they are not the ones going around beheading people, burning them alive, stoning women to death or killing Muslims for being SHIA. We believe in a pluralistic Iraq and Syria and will not allow the inception of any caliphate in either country or anywhere else for that matter.

IS are not freedom fighters. The women who defeated them in Kobani are freedom fighters whom we will support no matter what. The Peshmerga are freedom fighters as are the Turkmen and the poor Yazidis Bo were forced to run for their lives.

The Might on this occasion is focused on ending these criminals and since the law is on our side, then on this occasion, might is most certainly right.

Is there a Goodwin's Law on the American Indians?

I reckon there should be. It seems to be the fall back fail safe for those who don't have a keg to stand on!

I don't know about that, one could always refer to "Napalm Bombs" dropped indiscriminately over innocent civilians in "Nam" (as the Yanks like to call it) if one wished to highlight the capabilities of the Yanks when it comes to committing atrocities.

There are several others which one could focus on BUT, lets be fair, the great conquest of "Grenada" wasn't a particularly difficult task for the mighty forces of "Uncle Sam", they didn't really have time to think up any outrageous actions in that campaign, although there were one or two new weapons at their disposal and Grenada was a handy exercise to test them out.(didn't take much courage).

Cannot really think of ANY American military action (since it's founding) where they were engaged in a fair fight, overwhelming force has ever been their yardstick in any military engagement.

Amazingly, they are strangely prone to getting a good boot in the arse on most occasions but they have the nasty habit of buying their way out of trouble and declaring themselves victor. (it may not work so well dealing with the vengeance of IS).

They are taking a back seat in this one, but all the signs of American involvement are there. (but you have to look for it).

I absolutely detest the savages who take innocent people and detach their heads from their bodies, using them as footballs. They are barbaric savages. Any one who supports them, as you do, deserves my utter contempt and not worthy of civil debate, so I can only tell you once more, you are a fucking idiot so piss off, go join the courageous savages you prick !

Look up the word "Debate", (in the dictionary) you will discover that you have never been involved in one.

The next word (in the dictionary) is "Debauch", I would hazard a guess that you have had much experience with THAT.

The purpose of this "Debate" (which actually leaves YOU out of it due to your lack of understanding) was to highlight the fact that the issue of "Courage" has NOT been properly discussed.

"Courage" or the lack of it, is not the exclusive possession/dispossession of those that YOU deem to be savages.

It is often lacking in the greatest among us and abundant in the least among us.

In order to discuss the subject, one must understand what it is, you obviously do not therefore are not qualified to comment.
