squeaky cheese; do Cypriots enjoy Poutine?

Postby repulsewarrior » Sat Feb 28, 2015 6:24 pm

...it is a Quebec favorite that has spawned a whole new category of food across North America. Potato, a sauce, and unripened cheese curds, the three basic ingredients.

Beside the very original which i've eaten many years ago, i recall my favorite in Dartmouth across from Halifax with Turkey meat, extra Mozzarella, and a gravy that was so delicious. There are Festivals for Poutine in cities across the Continent, now. In Montreal, there are renown restaurants whose menu's are based on what is this most basic fare, Desserts (i have had one with strawberry jam extraordinarily good), full meals, and Appetizers included.

...i ask, if you like poutine, what are your favorite recipes?

Your message is inflammatory and its intent is to provoke others into an emotional response.

...just offensive.

Keep yourself to the Problem section if you wish, or Jokes, or tell us another story, that regales us, you are good at it, i'm sure.

Members and the readership do not have to be offended in every category, for your pleasure; what is most offensive is the harm you willfully bring to all of us, which includes not just the other writers who respond to you, but all those who visit this site for information, entertainment, enlightenment, you willfully harm all of us who use the internet, as though you are entitled.

...i say shame on you. it is lazy, and you know better.

Please accept my apologies, I meant no offence, it just occurred to me that it fitted in with Cypriot humour, that's all.

I'm not too sure about the Cheesy Dicks and Squeaky Pussies, sounds a bit borderline to me.

So, why was my comment so offensive ?.

On a more serious note, I am not able to answer your question (if genuine).

...it's funny, the word and the name sound exactly the same in French. Putin is not well liked in Canada at present, and sometimes the newscasts find clever ways to get that across; a plate of french fries gravy and melting cheese the President of Russia. Ukrainians represent a significant minority in Canada, whether the Crimea is "Russian" or not, the Ukraine exists and it has Rights.

Sad the man assassinated today, on the streets of Moscow, speaking of Putin.

Well said Sir. May I ask what exactly is Poutine, I have never come across this delicacy as you describe, being the adventurous sort when it comes to food, as well as new numerous delicacies Im intrigued.

Hope all is well with you in Canada and that one day we could meet and share a glass or two accompanied by Poutine ?

Now then Miltiades, read the entire exchange and witness the discourse between two gentlemen. (try to learn something).

I suppose your heart leapt for joy when I received a rebuke from "Repulsewarrior", you could not wait to publish it and in your usual eagerness to curry support from other members, you forgot to READ (a very usual fault of yours) the entire exchange.

It is not my wish to insult or offend although I readily accept that some of my comments may do precisely that, on the other hand, YOUR strongest weapon in "Debate" (as you like to refer to it  ) is to inject as much insult and abuse as you can muster.

I DO wish you would drop the habit, it is most unbecoming for a man of your (admitted) age.
