Talking about ....wine, I drink a botle a day, have done so for more than 40 years. On Sundays I drink two, when on holiday another two, and when not well .....3 :lol:

I never get drunk, I just fall asleep regardless of who is close to me :lol:

Red wine is the most ....civilized drink , followed by white, Zivania, Shnaps, Vodca, Glenfidich Whisky, and of course a newly found tipple, Belarus Zamagorga, a bit like Zivania, home made and full of zest and youth :lol:

Oh and by the way despite previous claims to the contrary I personally do not post when drunk, mainly because my Alcohol consumption is modest and I am seldom drunk.

You poor thing!

I generally find most people are good if you put a little effort in. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to be a nice person you know.

Only issues I have had is, believe it or not, Greeks and Cypriots. Really evil, gossip mongering, got nothing better to do but stick their beaks where it aint wanted, envious green eyed monsters and very fake and pretentious lot who pretend they got your best interest at heart. They can and have caused a lot of harm to a lot of people. Really really fake people that you begin to be very guarded and cautious with the lot of them even though there are a few out there, somewhere, who are really nice.

Not all of them, just the overwhelming majority are like that. At least in the Diaspora.

For some reason, the one's you meet in Asian countries and the Middle East are generally more sophisticated. There are quite a few Cypriot and Greek families living in Arabic Middle Eastern countries.

Rarely you get any issues with Anglos, Germans, Irish, Italians etc etc. They are more upfront and nicer as a general rule. With Greeks you just got to watch your back.

All the above characters are not Cyprus and given that they’re in the majority this forum cannot be Cyprus for there is only one source of Cyprus other than Cyprus and that of course is ME.

When I’m gone there will be no Cyprus left on the Cyprus Forum but a ship of foreign fools stranded midway between two mainlands.
