How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

rip ozer ekrem emin

ozer ekrem emin was a tc policeman in 1963. police colleagues stood by and watched him being taken away from the police station to be killed with three other tcs. one of them had a truck taking oranges to nicosia when he was picked up. one of the killers was using his truck for decades afterwards.

you tell me there is roc and there is law and order in this here banana republic. sure there is.

may the murderers and all those who support them to this day rot in hell.

What's your point, you think it only happened to one side? With hate mongers like you there will never be a just solution, you are a very poor propagandist.

Murder of any human person under any circumstances is a satanic act and should be condemned and the murderers themselves put in prison.

That said every other day RIK talks for the funeral of another missing person who was murdered at this and that place, and whose bones were identified by DNA tests.

This proves the hypocrisy governing everybody's mind in this place called Cyprus. When it's "one of us" we care. When it's "one of them" who gives a shit?

When the murderer stole the victim's truck and used it for years it matters, because the victim was "one of us".
When the murderer stole the victim's hotel and uses it until today making millions and organizing gambling events that will overnight make him at least 100,000 euros profit it's ok because the victim "is one of them".
Isn't it so Lordo?

gentlemen, I will open a new topic: In Praise of the Dead

...so that these people at least receive the respect they deserve, not as "Greeks", or "Turks", as their murderers would have called them, but as they lived and as they died: Cypriots.

I warmly recommend that you take the time to fill this topic with what you find on the thousands, and the thousand(s) that are missing. I am sure that we are able.

They deserve more than this, i think we can all agree.

Cheers.

the point charluimu is this was a police man doing his duty when he got handed over to the eoka men by his colleagues. how many gc police were handed over by tc police to be murdered. not that i would expect you to understand it but hey we can only try right. you can take the donkey to the water but you cannot force it to drink.

You are clutching at straws, the link I gave provides an example of Turkish Cypriot villagers murdering their former neighbours, what's the difference? We can exchange horror stories here all day long, where does it get us? YOU only want revenge for what happened in the past. You forget who started the inter-communal violence and what Turkey's declared objective has been all along.

if you cant see the difference between a bunch of thugs murdering civilians and the police force murdering civilians and policemen on the instructions of the minister in charge of police like georgadjis, i envy your simplicity. you must sleep well at night.

My sleep pattern is irrelevant, YOU just saying the same thing, it doesn't matter how often you repeat your "argument", it does not validate it.

Keep clutching at straws. you racist fool.

...spectacles, Jerry, i think is angry at you for making a spectacle of a good man. I suggest to all of us the obvious, and there is a thread where in our grief where we can share this agony if we choose. Indeed, it is important to know of these events, and speak of them. Indeed, we must change ourselves in a manner where these events are not ignored, that they do not leave us in our daily lives with feelings of helplessness.

But first of all, "this" must stop.

...cheers!
