Well, either turkey is more mismanaged than we thought or someone growled and the best excuse they had was that mehmet put the wrong coordinates in before they were sent off to NATO and the ICAO!!

It would hinge on whether or not they re-issue the NOTAM.

btw, NOTAMs are not issued to NATO or ICAO. NOTAMs are just "Notices to Airmen". They are used to notify Civil Aviation users of airspace changes, restricted airspace and Air Defence Zones plus much more.

Turkey issues NOTAMs through its own Civil Aviation Authority.

NATO would be notified by other means but not in NOTAM format. None of you would be able to read NOTAMs either. The media would not be able to properly decipher it either as it's almost another language.

Why do you think no idiot actually published the Turkish NOTAM?
