The first motorcycle I ever rode was a Harley 1340 Dyna. They're nowt special. They're for old men when they can't ride proper bikes anymore*

Maybe GR! was attracted to the sissy bar

*Sorry DT, only pulling your leg.

OK, OK. I shall stop pulling everyones legs :)

I know what you're saying! If you gonna get a bike, you might as well get a Duke and leave the Harley's, Triumphs and BMWs for retirement!

I'm a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to Harley's.

They are great looking bikes but that thing does not even look like a Harley. :?

I think, imo, that there's some sort of hat tip to the Yam V-Max. There are similarities in looks.
When Harley brought out the VRod it was very silver and girly. Mixed reviews. A lot of Harley owners customise their bikes to make the owner have grand illusions of meat headness. The bike looks bad ass, so must the owner be too. Usually done terribly with a stick and a Tin of matt black paint in the rat style. All Harley have done is taken this into account and used the popular style in a respectable manner.
My Italian bikes turning into a cult classic. It was something far too futuristic at the time it was brought out and people were very unsure whether to like it or loathe it. They're quite sought after now and I see more and more modern bikes that appear to look more and more like it.

Yes, I'm a motorcycle geek!
