So you are saying that Lazio has some Greek supporters, among many other groups such as Nazi wannabe fascists.Their colours may have been Greek inspired, but saying their emblem is the same as that of the Greek state is an overstatement.
I am saying that the Italian Club Lazio seems to identify with some kind of connection to Greece. It is however an Italian Club. I am not sure why it identifies with Greece but it might be due to some perceived historical connection.
It's also known at times to have a hardcore cell of supporters who are "fascist wannabes" if you like.
The Greek symbolism is what Lazio actually claim on their official website. They actually claim Greek National Emblems as some kind of connection to Greece. I am not sure why, but they just do. They also have various supporter groups which are actually called Lazio Hellas. The supporters there are not actually Greek but for some reason they identify with Greece.
One time, when Apoel were playing Lazio, the Italian supporters were unfurling Cypriot Flags, flying Apoel Ultra flags next to theirs as if they were playing a sister club. It was quite interesting.
There is also another pro club in Italy called Hellas Verona.
It just seems that there are thousands of not a million or so Italians who actually identify themselves as being of Greek Heritage and they are well organized in Italy's professional Football Leagues.
I am not saying Lazio is Greek because of the blue and white strip because if that is the case you could say Everton is Greek because they have a blue and white strip. The club Lazio actually state that their strip symbolizes the National Colours of Greece and they are fanatical about it too because sometimes there are more Greek Flags than Italian and sometimes they have Grivas Banners etc when they play Apoel.

We don't look upon you as our enemies but our future partners just as we were before all the troubles but in fact we are people who live on a small island that need to find a alternative to this seperation of Cypriots.
