I think I have worked it all out, Miltiades, mate. I think everybody will agree that the odious toad acting as a propagandist for the gang of thugs that sees nothing wrong with selling sex slaves aged 1-9 (as long as they are from non-Muslim families and were captured in battle) for 172 US dollars to any pervert who wishes to buy them (as long as that pervert is Muslim) seems to have a special animosity towards you.

You are somebody who, as I understand it, arrived in the UK speaking no English and with little more than the clothes you stood in. You went on to pull yourself up by your own bootstraps, succeed in business and make a place for yourself in your adopted country. You are living proof that anybody who makes a little effort to integrate and succeed, regardless of their ethnicity or religion, can succeed in the open, pluralistic place that Britain is. As a British-born Briton you are also a source of pride to me in showing the kind of country we have, and I have no problem in calling you British, although of course you are also Cypriot and this does not mean that you or I wish to deny your Cypriot heritage, either.

On the other hand, that toad probably grew up in some Islamic ghetto in the UK, was raised from birth to hate the mainstream British community and told to avoid all contact with them and so is now totally unable to integrate into British society and succeed in Britain. That is why this toad has a chip on its shoulder (if toads have shoulders!) and that is why he resents you so much, to the extent of telling blatant lies in the attempt to discredit you.

It is pure jealousy.

A good analysis Tim. Although I never forget that my roots are entirely Cypriot, I have come to embrace my adopted country as well as the western world in general. Many on this forum know that my late wife with whom I spent 46 years was as English as they come. My two children are half Cypriot and of course half English.

Just as I embraced England she too embraced Cyprus, somehow she, in many ways, felt Cypriot making Cyprus her last destination, her resting place...

Not everything is perfect in the UK or anywhere else, but when one looks at so many other nations especially the ME ones , one is grateful for being a part of the western world, a reason that thousands upon thousands escape their birth countries risking their lives to come to the west.

From the very first time I met my late father in law, an ex army man, I refuted ferociously the concieved beliefs that the Cypriots fighting the Brits were terrosrists. To this day, half a century later, I still robustly refute the myth that we Cypriots fighting for our freedom were terrorists. It does not in any way translate to hatred for the Brits as I my self are British, not forced to be, but proud to be.

This particular individual harbours an intense hatred for the west, America and Britain in particular. He is not only an enthousiastic supporter of the Savages but he is one him self.
It is a disgrace that on the CF we have such an abhorent individual who has never uttered in word of condemnation against the cutthroats, the barbarians who offer sex slaves as prizes.

I appreciate that my language in addressing him might be considered by most readers as crude, but being 69 years of age I have no time for civil exchanges with the likes of him.

Some have suggested that praising you was somehow designed to gain ....favours !!!

Well Tim, those that have known me for a number of years both on the forum and in real life know full well that I speak my mind, on occasions detrimental to my charachter but honest at large.

I thought his name was from the Greek for thunder (κεραυνός). So, it's a near miss to English from the expected Geravnos to Garavnoss - which made me think his Greek is not so good, maybe a charlie returned to Cyprus?

An interesting theory, too. It is so nice to have an idea who you are interacting with.

GreekIslandGirl absolutely hit the nail on the head [as they say] when she associated the name Garavnoss with [κεραυνός] since it is a derivation of one of the heroes of yesteryear who stood firm and fought for his country whilst others ran like whippets [with their tail between their legs] at a time when their country needed them most.

GiGs [may I ?] would of course be astute enough to make the connection, she has the same kind of dogged determination to stand firm when assailed by her adversaries, plus she has the intelligence required to offer something of value to the forum and [I must say] she is one who stands by her guns when under pressure.

She appears to be worthy of the title "Honourable" [but I must be careful here, some of Old Lick-Arse might rub off  ] and THAT I would find intolerable.

Congratulations to "Gigs", but do be careful , even the finest among us can be dragged down by idiots who venture blindfold into the realm of reality and NEVER see the light. 8)

Oh please, this looks like an arse lick to me.

I reckon GIG is astute enough to work that out too.

You see old boy, Greeks don't lick arse. Not only are you a Charlie, but it would seem that you have the attributes of a Brit. Maybe I am looking at the stereotypes, but I did grow up in Oz and we do say it as it is.
