 That's a good result! :D

Varese is supposed to be the strongest side in the group.

Larnaca beats Athens

AEK larnaka managed to come out with a friendly win over AEK Athens by 74-68 in OAKA arena.
Coach Linos Gavriel played with only half of his squad, which makes it really remarkable of his accomplishment. Aek Larnaka played without Panagiotis Trisokkas, Pantelis Sizopoulos, Tyrell Biggs and Primoz Brezec and the 41 year old birthday boy Jojo Garcia had to play a lot of minutes. Cyprusbasket.net really admires Jojo and his love for the game of basketball. Jojo proved he could still play with the young guns.

AEK will play in the FIBA Basketball Champions League.

Absolutely, doesn't matter who we play we'll always be the underdogs.
