Ramadan holiday in the TRNC

Postby Tim Drayton » Mon Jul 13, 2015 12:26 pm

I believe that the Ramadan holiday (Şeker Bayramı) in the de-facto TRNC ends on Sunday 19 July, and that Monday 20 July will be a normal working day with shops and other businesses open. Can anybody confirm that? Thanks.

I find your post insensitive.

Deeply disappointed in your decision to make such an inquiry.

To best of my knowledge that is correct Tim. The company I work for will be closed on 17th and 18th and will be open as normal on the 20th.

Ancestry doesn't change. 1000s of years remains the same, through the good times and through the bad times ;)
