Maybe. But they are not famous for it like the Russians, Chinesse and North Koreans are.
The NSA is probably in bed with Microsoft so their spy scripts probably come pre-installed with every computer or smart phone.
So if you want to protect yourself from Russians, try Trend Micro. If you want to protect yourself from Echelon, then give up or hand back your computers, VISA cards, TVs, Sonos, Google Box, Smart Phone, close down all your emails, tablets, Bose Sydtems etc etc and live like a hermit at Kykkos Monastery.
Oh and do not have an internet signature or go on any social media like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Viber, or even forums but if you handed your computer, smart phone and tablets in before becoming a Monk at Kykko, you would have already taken care of business.
Apple is the only company in the world that is fighting the Government in order to protect their user’s privacy, but Apple will lose. And if they don’t lose, they will just add an unfair massive Tarif or tax on Apple products.
So all You Microsoft fans out there wouldn’t be such big huge Microsoft fans if you k ew that Gates is on the US Payroll to install all kinds of security exploits. You would be defending Spple because Apple and Linux are the last strongholds.
The idea behind it is to have every human and their pets under surveillance if they need to. Even their own citizens.
