Hello
Does anyone have current info on Neo Chorio ? i am thinking of renting a small apt in the village with the intent of doing a good bit of hiking in the Akamas, ( when the weather gets more comfortable.)

I lived for a little while in Neo Chorio with my Uncle who was the Headmaster of Polis High School.

I attended school at Polis because my Uncle was tutoring me on Physics and Mathematics in preparation for the Australian Year 12 Exams the following year.

I have very fond memories of the village, and I had spent a lot of time with my Uncle trekking Akamas and really got to know the area very well. The village is not as I remember it. In those days, there were a lot of the older stone houses and village atmosphere. The newer developments seem to have ruined that, but I could also be seeing things in rose coloured goggles because it was a long time ago and it was such a great time.

The area is beautiful. Paphos is the best region of Cyprus by far.

I spend most of my time in Paphos as well.

The view is magnificent. It would be better to go there in October. Now it's too damn hot.

Hey Paphiti, does this evoke any nostalgia?

Yes it does. A very nice part of Cyprus.

I use to walk that road almost daily, taking in those views.
