According to a respected psephologist, the only way that the AKP would be able to secure an absolute majority in the upcoming repeat elections would be if Abdullah Gül were brought in to head the party. Interesting.

The latest poll puts the AKP vote at 38.9% - far short of what Erdoğan needs to achieve his dynastic aspirations:

Will he manage to find a way of influencing/rigging the vote sufficiently between now and 1 November, when the repeat elections are scheduled? Indeed, if the results are again not to his liking, will he accept them this time?

Soon, Europe will feel threatened enough to do something about its territorial integrity,

Those slow and procrastinating at the top, who have their priorities as end backwards, will eventually connect all the dots and end Turkey, along with this migrant crisis.

It will be a matter of survival.
