Well done for posting this - it's the events about 40 minutes before (at 21:51:50) the video that erolz has posted in his propagandist fashion (at 22:40:41).

This further video clearly shows a crazed man beating up the two Polis police officers in a completely unprovoked attack. I wonder what he was doing to be brought in and how many innocent people on the streets he had harmed?

It looks to me like the suspect is high on drugs because he was overpowering the two officers in that way that people on drugs have of gaining extra strength.

And, in the video later on (time 22:40:41) when he was provoking the officers to come into the holding cell, he looked as cool as a cucumber and obviously did not suffer any harm from the officers who were trying to protect themselves.

Yes, he was very lucky - in Britain police even Taser innocent blind people and no one bats an eye-lid. The Polis police showed enormous strength of character to try and restrain him under such apparently drug-crazed behaviour from the suspect.

Please don't let this suspect back on the streets.

He was judged and a sentence was imposed on him. I don't think our judgement on the forum can be better than the judgment of judges who should have all the evidence. The same should happen with the two policemen... they will be judged properly and then a sentence will be imposed on them.

No, but from the behaviour seen of this particular suspect - wildly attacking two officers and then looking invincible - he is too scary to be let loose. And whilst he is a "suspect" and with such behaviour in evidence, I say, yes, please do not let him on the streets.

Of course, once he is no longer a suspect, perhaps convicted and served his time and maybe off drugs (if that is his problem), then of course, he deserves another chance.

To me it indicates very poor training and discipline from those Police Officers.

Their constant beating of the arrested man is criminal and the police must be held accountable. They were kicking him when he was down.

But why they did not get any back up or do something sensible like use a taser gun or mace to incapacitate him God only knows.

The 2 Cypriot Police Officers lost control in their own station from their own incompetence!
