I run a quick spreadsheet calculation on the table provided by GR. Basically the spreadsheet adds up all the differences for every haplogroup provided in the table. The smaller the number, the closest two countries/regions are. Here are the results for Cyprus. The results speak for themselves and are not a surprise to to me (but GR should be very surprised) And this result despite the fact that 18% of the population of Cyprus are TCs.

Arabs are totally lovely and I really enjoy most aspects of their culture.

Ok, they can be overly religious is about all, but the same can be said of Jews, Greeks and some parts of USA even.
