Cypriots are Middle Easterners...

Postby Get Real! » Fri Aug 28, 2015 11:22 pm

A massive contemporary study of all Europeans and beyond, proves what I've been telling you all along for years that Cypriots are in fact Middle Easterners not Greeks!

There are tons of data and maps here all pointing to the same thing. Common sense prevails at last!

Enjoy yourselves.

Btw, even Turks are more European than us!

1. Which data are you exactly excited about?

2. Specifically which haplotypes stand out as indicative?

I don't see any significance to support your conclusion.

Most of it is over a decade old. Things have moved on from these single haplotype in small group samplings.

(Isn't that Eupedia site managed by some Turks, anyway?)

Certainly, it's sooooo scientific ( ) they felt the need to add this:

Disclaimer

The information about the origin and ethnic association of haplogroups on this website should not be read as hard facts, but, as is often the case in science, as a model in constant evolution based on the present knowledge and understanding (of the author). Whenever the advancement of genetics couldn't provide irrefutable answers, we have attempted to provide the most likely and logical hypothesis based on archeological, historical and linguistic evidence. Nah... the j haplo group is strong, but too weak and watered down for an absolute middle east generalisation.
Sorry dude.
What's even better is the sub saharan African gene frequency is virtually zero, even compared to north European and continental europeans.

Very Exciting news and what a relief.

Middle Easterners and Arabs in particular are a most lovely people. A lot more classier, more intelligent, more polite than any Greek or Turk I know.

Turkey is the only country that includes a sizeable percentage of Asian and African haplogroups not listed in this table (A, ExE1b1b, C, H, L, O, R2) representing 8.5% of the total. Haplogroup L alone makes up 4% of the Turkish population.

There's nothing definitive except each country's population has one or other in abundance (due to various isolating mechanisms) - but all outdated. There are far newer studies.

My only disappointment is that Cypriots don't have any Germanic DNA.

If Hitler was correct about one thing, it was his notion that Germans are of a higher order too. Proven so many times.

Greeks have some slight Germanic traces, but tthose DNA Markers must have been corrupted and overpowered by some other crap.

yes the Eupedia site has some really great information in it. I am having lots of fun with it, reassuring myself.

What Get Real posted is actually very accurate. Cypriots share more markers with the people from the Near East - more typically, Israeli, Palestine, Jordanian, Iranian and even Yemeni. But the strongest links are with Israelis and Palestinians.

Another interesting fact is that Israelis and Palestinians are extremely close (like GCs and TCs) so if ever these 2 who keep wanting to kill each other ever put aside their differences, they might find a lot in common and perhaps they can live together too. HAMAS will never let that happen which goes to show, religion is the root of a lot of evil and the same might apply to GCs and TCs too.

It suggest, that our we migrated from this area at least 10,000 years ago (maybe more). A people who basically settled in the Choirikitia and Sotira settlements.

Greeks have stronger links with Romanians (Surprise surprise), Hungary, Bulgaria and also some Nordic and Germanic traces.

Read about it all here:

And for those who prefer diagrams, ,aps, charts, there is a wealth of information about the migrations which again support the argument that Cypriots are from the Near East. :)
