And the celebrations and tributes to the illustrious RAAF continue today after the completion of the 1000th sorty and 400th confirmed kill. :D

You lucky people are getting even more F111 footage - otherwise known as the "PIG" which can fly. We also have "RHINOS" which can fly which is the predecessor to the "RAPTOR" incarnate.

Another RAAF aircraft involved in Syria are our Wegetails.

Ever seen a B737 refuel in mid air. Check this out for skill. 8)

These things are not only Command and Control, but even render Russia's and Syria's entire Missile arsenal obsolete right up to the S300/S400 which can't even use their radar!

Aaaaah such eye candy!

If someone takes a little trip down to Akrotiri you will find there is considerable RAAF traffic in the area.

If you can get to a vantage point, you might be able to see a couple of RAAF A330 Tankers, or the highly sensitive and secretive Wedgetail AEW/Command and Control B737s.

The Rhinos might be operating from the UAE. But they could overfly Syria and use Akrotiri if their fuel was critical.

What usually happens is that they overfly Syria and conduct a sorty and they refuel over the East Mediterranean and then back to Syria before heading back to UAE.

Don't rush off all at once now. No point clogging up all the roads at once.

Guys guys! Where have the stupid Russians gone?

They issued a NOTAM and have set us up on a date but only to stand us up! :(

Shame, because they are so much fun.

Hopefully they are running just a little late, but no new NOTAM. Not that this will stop them from shooting down an Airliner anyway!

More eye candy for you lucky people. All shots taken over Iraq apart from the Wedgy which is departing from a UAE Airbase! 8)

ENJOY! :D
