Those who join ISIL from Russia and other countries have normally been brainwashed into a radical form of Islam usually on Social Media. DAESH will not have paid mercenaries because they claim to adhere to a radical form of Salafi Islam which has exceeded all boundaries.

The Saudis are no ally of DAESH. There is a Jihad against the Saudis. The Saudis have other allies further to the West according to reports. I don't know which group/s because there are 41 or even more and the damn situation is confusing.

This guy has lost the plot ! To say that he hates Putin more than he hates Isis is indicative of his immaturity and total lack of common sense. I have always been and always will be pro West and pro USA, however when actions by the west or the USA are blatantly stupid, as in the case of Syria, then I will criticize severely. Putin is adored by the vast majority of Russians and considered by the West to be a strong leader. Having encountered numerous Russians- Belarusians- over the last 5 plus years and having talked to many of them it became clear to me that Putin is revered by most.

Why Observer? We are still fighting ISIL for what it's worth but I have a feeling that ISIL is about to double its strength from all the other recruits they are going to get from the other Jihadi groups which Putin has bombed.

Russia had EVERY right to do this! They were invited in to do just that by the recognised government of Syria ............. US/NATO countries were not. Without being requested to enter the country they needed a UNSC mandate to do so ....... they never bothered because the US Administration is so arrogant it really does believe it is the ‘indispensable’ and ‘exceptional’ nation......... Putin is now correcting that false statement.

US/NATO have wated 4 years by trying to get regime change without getting their boots dirty using ISIS/Islamic extremists to do the job for them ......... only because the people of the US will no longer accept their Governments penchant for going to war to benefit the administrations political, commercial and military interests.

Coalition can't kill them fast enough to outpace their recruiting. It's just an endless conveyor belt of death. A sausage factory and Russia just made it worse. Some are even teenage boy "soldiers"

And it is has been the US/NATO that has been supplying the ingredients! Russia is about to put them on a healthy diet and Assad has even offered an amnesty to all those FSA deserters, providing they have not committed war crimes.

Unlike you I am not blind to 'my' country's faults! I think you will find that most ordinary, sensible people who can see through the MSM bullshit are in step with me. You are in a small minority who supports the killing and destruction by US/NATO over the last four years. It seems from most of the reader’s comments in the MSM, it is Putin that is now getting the support. People like me have had enough of the murder and mayhem that our misguided Western (US led ?) forces have imposed upon the world.
