That's really interesting.

I can understand why Icelanders might be prescribed the most, living in such a unique climate, with a low population level. These are factors which contribute to problems. But why so high for those, supposedly, happy-go-lucky antipodean, "No worries" types?

It's an accurate depiction of the prescription habits of Doctors in some countries, and the level of Medical Cover and Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme where Medicines are pretty much almost free.

Also, there are over 150,000 Aussie Veterans from Vietnam, and Desert Storm 1 who are heavily dependent on PTSD drugs. It's one of the highest Veteran's Populations per capita on the planet and suicide rate is high, far more than the USA or UK. Then after this, there may be future issues with Afghan Vets, Iraq2, Iraq3 and Syria.

But overall, Australia is the best country in the world. Those who live in places like Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Hobart etc have very little to complain about compared to the rest of the world.

You should try it but be warned. We have resorted to putting Kiwis at the Christmas Island Detention Centres now.

Now for Aussies to do this to their ANZAC Brothers and Sisters, silly anti British, anti NATO, DAESH supporting Cypriot twats will probably end up in da Gas Chambers!

If you want to be an illegal immigrant in Australia, you probably need a lot of anti depressants as well as other medicines because you're probably not very bright at all. So that probably scews the results a little.

Orthodox are some of the unhappiest people out there. All you need to do is observe the stupid carry on at funerals. The most undignified crap you will ever witness.

Also, in Greece and Cyprus you have to pay for your meds, so you goes suffer in silence because you can't afford them now!

Which explains the USA. They have a botched up Medical system which is why they don't feature along with Greece and Cyprus.
