how long have been a cannibal old man.

if russia can close her border to the terggs, what is to stop the terggs reciprocating.

now you do understand what the word reciprocating means right.

closing your borders to country is a declaration of economic war. like for like it must be answered.

perhaps i should have used tit for tat just in case shitface is around so he can understand what we talking about.

The name of the city persisted as Constantinople or Konstantinniye until the 1900s you goofy uneducated idiot. it was only changed after the fall of the Ottoman Empire.

BTW - Churchill wrote the above to his Foreign Office, 23rd April 1945

"Constantinople should never be abandoned, though for stupid people Istanbul may be written in brackets after it".

I think Churchill knew we would one day get Constantinople back. No need to abandon the name - "NEVER" ! 8)

interesting that you should admire churchill. it seems those who pretend to be your friend are not always on your side.

Did I say I admire him? Britain's attempts to subjugate the Greek nations are well known - and stemmed from the same imperialist greed that Turkey shows to this day.

However, he greatly admired the Greeks, as did Hitler and no doubt many other not-so-nice figures - but that doesn't detract from the fact I support his expressed view that Constantinople should continue to be known as such (except by "stupid people" like you of course).

Who are my "friends", you blithering idiot?

Now, go and find out how the occupants of Constantinople are doing today, after yet another bomb - as the British media don't give a fig for details.
