No need to be a regional superpower, if you cannot be a global (real) superpower...

Look at what happened to Turkey, who thought she was a regional superpower...

They all appear to be supportive of a solution. That and gunboat diplomacy is back. The region is now littered with warships

President Obama was in Australia only 2 weeks ago. Before that, Japan's Shinzo Abe.

The Chinese Head of State is due to arrive early next year and so is Frau Merkel.

Not to mention Heads of State from another dozen or so countries in the last 3 months.

I don't recall Australian PM ever visiting Cyprus though. Maybe you can help me with that one. Maybe it's time for him to visit Pegia and his ASIO spy base at Agios Nikolaos. It's even New Zealand's little base too so maybe NZ PM should visit as well. Echelon/Five eyes/five powers my friend and Cyprus is a vital part of our Pine Gap Echelon network because we are all spying on My Pootin atm (all 5 countries) and we have our own staff working there for our own Governments. Everyone is there buddy, including the CIA and NSA

We've probably even bugged all of Anastasiades' phones. Wouldn't put it past them as we even had Frau Merkel bugged so what hope does he have. But I think he is safe as we don't think he is worth the effort.

I think it is completely wrong of us not to visit a regional superpower! I will write to him to tell him to visit Cyprus. I probably have to give him a geography lesson too as he would probably visit Greece by mistake and try and sell the Makamaraes Australian made Halloumi!

Oh btw, despite no Australian PM visiting Cyprus, the last 3 or 4 Cyprus Presidents have made official visits to Australia. They even got to meet Australian PM and peed there pants. I reckon they visit for the VIP Dassault Falcon jaunts. I mean I can understand going to this expense for a US President, Japanese Head of State etc but Cyprus Pres only deserves a clapped out Kingswood or a Taxi.

Oh well, maybe he can sign an agreement to sell Australian Made Halloumi which tastes better than Cypriot Halloumi.
