LOL!!. We are far better than Spain (the paradise of unemployment) and Italy (seems like a southern america corrupt country, with at least 4 criminal organizations).

No Spain does not seem like a South American Country. You sure you're not better than Portugal?

There is no comparison between us and either Italy or Spain I'm afraid. None whatsoever.

Unemployment and corruption are 2 seperate things.

But you can believe what you want. You don't strike me as the sharpest tool in the shed.

Yes, i'm sure, we're better than Portugal, Spain and Italy. Italy's bureaucracy is like a South American contry, a lot but a lot worse than us.
And i know spanish people who live in Cyprus and all said Cyprus is better than Spain, for business and quality of life.

I am sure you definitely not better than Portugal.

Speaking of South America, I place Cyprus somewhere amid Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador.

Cyprus like Colombia or Ecuador??. Man, what are you talking about?.
Our country for business and quality of life is better than Spain, Italy and Portugal.

You know what I am talking about!

You don't have any accountability in Cyprus. No accountability for the Banks, Cyprus Airways, or the ludicrous idiocy of the Mari catastrophe. Oh, and the millions embezzled by prominent politicians out of Cyprus before the infamous bank bail out levies were introduced. Talk about great timing!

Don't be a fool!

So yes! Colombia is just about where you are!

Are you saying none of these shenanigans occurred?

It's ok to have some corruption and it will never be eradicated from any country. But when there is no accountability for it, then it's a very big deal. That is why I don't rate Cyprus at all.

The people need to know that those responsible need to be held accountable but in Cyprus this does not occur.

Paphiti, for once I totally agree with you. Accountability in Cyprus is like a virgin in a brothel, doesn't exist! Our elite F us over in every oriface they can and we just say thank you.

What we need is a revolution to clear out the dead wood and start again, but that ain't happening anytime soon. Distixos.

I'm not commenting on any of these things. Just your ignorance with regards to the power of mafia organizations and corruption and drug and human trafficking that exists in central and south America. Cyprus is no angel, but way better off.

Save this shit for the Cyprus Mail and when you’re next there remind those that whine that a fool and his money are soon parted regardless of country of residence.

There is no point in hiding it under the carpet, someone will see the lump!

So tell us how many times you’ve been ripped off then because I for one have never experienced it.

And to think I missed your banter.

Welcome back Fig...

Now that we are talking about Mafia, do you really think Cyprus is way better off. Doesn't Cyprus have a Mafia of its own now?

Cyprus is a much smaller country than Colombia and much wealthier too. So for the Mafia (Russian) to be allowed a foothold on the island and be allowed to launder casts amounts of money through the Cyprus Banks is another big issue.

Colombia in its Defence is extremely poor.

So where exactly do we sit? Somewhere near Colombia I maintain.

These indices mean very little to me. When you got no accountability for corrupt officials, criminally negligent officials, and when the people were conned about Cyprus Airways and where your assets were pawned off to foreign interest then you got no reason to be very happy at all.
