Get a religious person to pour some water over your head and baptise you. According to The Bible, this would be official. Any Christian is supposed to be able to perform a baptism, not just clergy and it certainly shouldn't cost money.

The funny thing is, is that the Church of today has become like the Pharisees. If Jesus really were to come back, it would simply be a re-enactment of what happened before, with Jesus criticizing the religious authorities and forming yet again, a new movement and one that doesn't require "tithes" and "donations" for any spiritual service to be performed.

We have to assume that the request was for an Orthodox baptism because this is the Cyprus Forum. Religion may not be the only motive here…
