| I ordered this on DVD from the US about a year ago. While it's good in that it contains original interviews with Makarios, Denktas, Sampson etc., the overall presentation is extremely biased in favour of the GC's. This is natural in that it was made by Cacoyannis, but does detract from its credibility as a source. I'd still recommend seeing it, but not worth shelling out the pounds. |

| I saw this documentary too. Yes it's biased but it contains many original interviews with politicians and ordinary GCs. I recommend it. |

I have bought a copy of this DVD.
It is a real eye opener to the suffering of the Greek Cypriots during 1974. Its emotional, moving and brough tears to my eye. It raises important questions about the treament and whereabouts of Greek Cypriot war prisoners?
But it did NOT mention, even in passing the suffering of the Turkish Cypriots during 1974. This I thought was rather unfair, as Turkish Cypriots were affected just as badly in 1974. |

If anyone can get a copy to me I would be happy to digitise it into a suitable format and put it up on some webspace somewhere (and take the risk of the copyright owners getting upset). I am not recommending that anyone undertake such an illegal activity themselves of course (as promoting such an illegal act would be aginst the forums rules) |
