DIKKAT! Why Federalism is NOT for Cyprus!

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

DIKKAT! Why Federalism is NOT for Cyprus!

Postby MrH » Wed Feb 17, 2016 4:12 pm

In a Nutshell, and through the eyes of the Greek Cypriot "Majority" Population:

"The very mention of there being a north and south, with the north giving up some of the land they currently occupy, is not acceptable to many Greek Cypriots. They do not want Turkish Cypriots to have any territory at all. A United Cyprus, in their eyes, is a Cyprus ruled by the Greek Cypriot majority with the Turkish Cypriot minority doing as they are told by what will be a democratically elected majority making up the rules."

Unfortunate as it may be, the Turkish Cypriots are the "Minority" population on the island a a Fair Federal deal based on a Democratically elected Federal Government can NOT guarantee "Statehood" equality the why Turkey and the Turkish Cypriot want it. A dual Republic States formula like the Montenegro/Serbia Republics is probably the best situation for the Turkish Cypriots. Anything less is simply not worth the Voting Cross it's elected in on for the Turkish Cypriots!

I have chosen the above "Subject" as "DIKKAT! Why Federalism is NOT for Cyprus!" and not "DIKKAT! Why Federalism is NOT for Turkish Cypriots!" as such a Federal deal could end up in yet another inter-communal clash witnessed in the past; when the Turkish Cypriot disagree in a federal government and realise that they are legally and politically strangled, while the Greek Cypriots enforce actions anyway regardless of Turkish Cypriot wishes (as their MINORITY 1-4 ratio representation will mean NOTHING in a Truly operated Democratic government - particularly one under the EU, and without Turkey being a member of it too!)

The Turks in Cyprus are minority and their rights should be those of a minority. North Cyprus does NOT belong to the Turks. The Turks only ILLEGALLY occupy it. If you think we will ever sign north Cyprus to you in any way you are very mistaken. North Cyprus will NEVER be yours. You can just occupy it for as long as you have the power to occupy it. When sooner or later your power runs out then not only you will not be able to continue to occupy our lands but you will be appropriately punished.

Re shesmene, Turkey is going bye bye. Along with your politics because quite frankly, its nasty dog poo.

You should collectively rid that criminal gang in government. Do it before its too late but you're all mentally challenged and brainwashed to hate, oppress and steal from others to survive. The world opinion is hating on Turkey right now. Most people of the world think Turkey is a nasty piece of dog poo. The comments section under every article related to Syria, in every international media outlet says so.

So. it will end up like this for Cyprus because;

This is what you will get, Karma says so. Besides it's very democratic, reasonable and fair.

Don't like it? leave with the settlers and the Turkish army. And I predict that the Turkish army will be leaving Cyprus before a "solution" to save their own country from foreign occupation. What goes around comes around!

You are so funny. Do you not realise that EVERYONE in Cyprus at some point or another would be classed as a so called "Settler". It's funny how the Greeks from Greece are also NOT known as settlers, the HUGE amount of Romanians and Bulgarians and East Asians whom populate your side of Ledra Street on Sundays are also not labelled as "Settlers".

It's idiots like you whom give Turkey the reason to Remain, Control and Populate the Island of Cyprus until its people become the Majority - which isn't far off. If you want to know how many Turkish people from Turkey are in the North, and mixed with the Turkish Cypriots since 1974, I have no reservations in estimating the figure to be no less than 620'000. Don't believe me, Ask the former President of the TRNC! in fact, I have knowledge that Erdogan has a figure of 1 million plus that he wants on the island of Cyprus!

You've lost the North! face it, deal or no deal, the Island of Cyprus is now Turkish and Belongs to Turkey. If you can't see it yet, you will certainly feel it soon.

Erdogan has you guys wrapped around his fingers - especially with that Homo-Gay boy President you have called Nicola...oh sorry, I meant Nicos

Also, and ask your elders on this one. Do you know why Papadopoulos said no to the Annan Plan? Because he knew very well that it would take more than 10 years for Turkey to even start the removal process of its embedded military armory and missiles embedded in the Kyrenia mountains. Don't believe me.......try going for a drive in the areas marked "X" when you are traveling through the North and watch your car get blown up!

Stop acting Dumb Maximus and warm up to the fact that the Turks of Turkey are here to stay. The Education read by all the Turkish Cypriots of Today is that from Turkish - in every way.

Turkish Cypriots - There are none - We are all Turks now thanks to your Stupid Greek Cypriot Nationalistic politicians.
