Probably many are even Atheist.

Don't listen to the propaganda. The Religious police are not rounding up anyone and forcing them to attend mosque. They wouldn't be able to cope if everyone was forced to attend.

They are more into dress codes and things like that. And Saudi Arabia is a very corrupt country, so not everyone is equal. For instance, westerners are by enlarge overlooked.

Paphitis:

You have absolutely no concept of the serious way these people take their religion. There are NO Muslim atheists, if you are a Muslim you are a Muslim for life. Like all religions they tend to bend-the-rules when they think their God cannot see them.
Don't listen to the propaganda. The Religious police are not rounding up anyone and forcing them to attend mosque. They wouldn't be able to cope if everyone was forced to attend.

What absolute rubbish! Oh yes they do .... I have seen it several times. If it is prayer time and you are not praying, they DO use the canes they carry. If the Mosque is full they pray outside. The propaganda is the assurances that some Arab who wants something from you, has given to you ..... and you believe it! Islam encourages Muslims to lie to Infidels when it is to their advantage ..... it’s in the Koran!
They are more into dress codes and things like that. And Saudi Arabia is a very corrupt country, so not everyone is equal. For instance, westerners are by enlarge overlooked.

Agreed in principal but they do not ‘overlook’ Westerners ...... they just allow them to have compounds where the Saudi police need prior permission to enter, because these compounds are treated a bit like an Embassy compound. Sourounded by high walls and fences where women wear bikinis, share the pools with men, drink alcohol, smoke, drive cars ..... in other words it is an exempt society isolated from the normal Saudi population. Saudis are not permitted to enter these compounds and the gate house is manned by Saudi security not western security. Get caught with alcohol/drugs in your car or on your person (unless you happen to be a Saudi of ‘Royal’ status) and your western status does you no good at all.

You need to learn a lot more about the Saudi society you admire so much before you decide to immigrate there.......... there is much more freedom in Iran.

Not quite true about Being Muslim for life, though due to very strict laws on apostacy and heresy in many countries, eg Pakistan, and often used for political purposes in eg Saudi Arabia or Iraq to deal with, sometimes kill opponents, the number of those who will admit to losing faith in the word of Mohamed (cursed be his name) is small. One is more likely to find apostacy in the west.
